Haven't posted lately...been working on portraits every opportunity I get. Trying to learn how to get good lifelike portraits so I have been practicing. This is the most recent I just finished for WC's WDE.

Well-done! Faces are my favorite subject to paint -- they are so alive! :) Okay, I know flowers are alive too -- I just haven't studied them so much. Your flower below is beautiful! You mention you are self-taught. I think as adults especially we are always learning... it's the best kind of education! And you're obviously a good student of watercolors.
